Snow Day!

Yep, 2nd day of the semester and classes got cancelled, due to a sad attempt at snow.

What can I say, the Louisville area uses practically any reason to shut down school.

Although I am quite thankful for the break, but I am still neck deep in homework.  Did I say it was only the 2nd day of the spring semester?  Yeah... it's going to be a long one.

So this is going to be short and sweet because I've got tons of reading to do, venison chili (yup, you heard that right), and some bread to bake.

Have a great Tuesday guys and be back tomorrow for something delicious!

  1. Good luck on your homework... I am feeling you on that... I've been back to school for a week and have quite the mini-mountain to accomplish myself!

  2. Venison chili...yummy! I can't believe how much snow the whole country is getting! It is kind of scary. I hope you were able to take care of all the things you needed to tonight. Thanks for sharing, sweet girl. Eat well tomorrow!

  7. Hey Louisville lady! I am not far north of you near Indy :)
Today is my snow day, because I'm off from work. Not leaving the house today! Except to take the dogs out :)

  8. Enjoy your snow day! My oldest was a pharmaceutical science major and took a lot of the same classes as the pharm students...I know what a brutal schedule you must have!!! Good luck this semester~

  9. I'm right there with ya, snow days feel great, but they don't make the work go away like they did in elementary school!

Good luck with your school work---I know it can be really hard and overwhelming. I went to school for....forever, but the best thing I did was to break the semester into chunks and keep a really good organized look at what I had to do (and not look at the big picture). It will be over in less than 5 months, and then you'll be saying...wow, time flies. Or maybe you'll just be sighing with relief :)
