CSA Week #15

It's that time again, CSA showcase!  We're really starting to get some tomatoes - both heirloom and cherry tomatoes this week!  Definitely thinking about making a tomato tart of some sort =)

  • Pepper mix

  • Okra

  • Watermelon

  • Cherry tomatoes

  • Heirloom tomatoes

  • Swiss chard

  • Garlic

  • Hot peppers

  • Basil

Now let's check out what some other bloggers received!

Lyn from Life Lyn Style:

Cherry tomatoes, slicing tomatoes, peaches, beets, green peppers, hot peppers, eggplant, yellow squash, cucumber, lettuce, yellow wax beans, parsley, watermelon
Lyn had quite the load, didn't she?!

And Sam from Cooking My Way Through My CSA:

1 lb cucumbers, 1 head celery, 1 pint orange cherry tomatoes, 0.5 lb salad mix, 2 candy onions, 1 bunch basil, 0.5 lb green beans, 1 lb Zucchini/Squash, 2 Tigerella heirloom tomatoes, 3 lbs donut peaches,
Plus 3 pints of blackberries and an extra heirloom tomato from the farmer's market
Looks like Sam was loaded down with goodies too!

Glad that everyone could share their veggies!  This is the last week that I'm doing a round-up for CSA's.  I've got a lot of posts that I need to get up, but I still encourage everyone to share their CSA with others on their own blogs!

It's a beautiful day in Louisville, so I'm actually getting a chance to run in the evening (it's not sweltering hot!), so I'm going to head out!  See you guys tomorrow!  Remember, it's TGIF!
